It starts as an abscess around the anus (a tender bulging in the skin adjacent to the rectal opening), it opens into the skin (by itself or by a Doctor), then it stays as a chronic relapsing skin infection in the area, this is because it‘s connected to the rectal lumen through an abnormal Channel which continues to be fed by the stool germs through this little abnormal formed connection.
